Rotterdam sees 0.8% increase in throughput

Hans Smits, Port of Rotterdam Authority CEO, has hailed a good year for the port in 2011, with throughput increasing by 0.8% from 2010’s figures to 433 million tonnes. 2011 was the ninth time in 10 years that the port has seen growth, and Smits has pledged more investment in terminals as a result.

Cardinal Group win regional HSBC Business Thinking!

On 24th November the North West finalists for the HSBC Business Thinking Award gathered at the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral for the ceremony to name the regional winner to go through to the national finals and once again Cardinal Group came out on top, scooping the award in the face of stiff competition from a selection of the best businesses across the North West.
