As the Shanghai World Expo continues to attract over 400,000 visitors each day, the North West should be grateful for the presence of the Liverpool Pavilion. The success of such exposure should improve global networks across the North West of England, especially with Shanghai, one of the world’s finest maritime and trading cities.
Is it important that the North West reaches out to growing global economies, particularly those in the Far East, with a strong focus on capitalising on a network of pathways to prosperity. The 2010 World Expo is like no other Expo that has been held before. It is the first time that cities such as Liverpool, Venice and Hangzhou have been invited to participate.
